ntp-fingerprint

 

ntp-fingerprtint is a command line perl script for active fingerprinting the identify of the operating system the NTP server is running on.
 

Installation:

 

Available from here.

 

tar -zxvf ntp-fingerprint.tar-gz
 

Execution:
 

perl ntp-fingerprint.pl -t [ip_address]

 

Example Output:

 

$ perl ntp.pl -t 192.168.66.202
ntp-fingerprint.pl, , v 0.1
************* NTP server found at host 192.168.66.202 *******
#It was possible to gather the following information #
#from the remote NTP host 192.168.66.202 #
# Operating system: cisco #

$ perl ntp.pl -t 192.168.66.200
